Executive Plumbing Of The Midlands, 3506 Fernandina Road: 2010s 2 comments
It's back out to Fernandina Road again for this one. Executive Plumbing was a little north of Lawyer Lisa, and its building looks to have been vacant for several years.
As nearly as I can tell, this operation morphed into Sitte Plumbing of Leaphard Road, based on that business having the same phone number as that noted on the sign here.
Sushi Yoshi, 2019 Devine Street: Late 2021 3 comments
Since I am not a seafood person, and definitely not a raw seafood person, I wasn't really aware of Sushi Yoshi in Five Points. Online reviews suggest it was a quirky little place with a small staff and idiosyncratic seating arrangements. As nearly as I can tell from those reviews, they probably closed late in 2021, as a January review mentions that a "temporarily closed" sign had been up for several months by that point.

Lawyer Lisa, 3202 Fernandina Road: April 2022 6 comments
This Lawyer Lisa office, in the former N-Graphix building has moved, or consolidated to Sunset Boulevard. Commenter Larry speculates that the location may be caught up in the Carolina Crossroads I-26 project the same as a number of properties on both sides of the highway.

UPDATE 9 October 2023: This building has been razed. Click here for pictures.
Village Artists, 631 Promenade Place: 16 April 2022 no comments
Commenter Andrew point to this ColaDaily article about the closing of the Village Artists gallery in Sandhill.
Apparently the site had been open since 2009 and had the use of their space at no charge as long as no paying customer needed it (an instance where the general situation at Sandhill was actually a plus). In the event, somebody finally did want to rent the space for expansion, so the gallery had to close.
I had noticed the place a number of times over the years, generally when I was going to Atlanta Bread Company/Panera, but for one reason or another never actually went inside.

Cod Tail Seafood & Chicken, 2450 Decker Boulevard: April 2022 8 comments
Cod Tail (a name, which I've said before, I really do not at all like) was the follow-on in this space to Rush's, which closed in 2019. Cod Tail opened sometime after February 2021, meaning it lasted a bit over a year.
Since I don't like seafood, I never checked the place out, but judging by the sign on the drive-through, they were having issues before they actually shut down. It appears that the Charleston location is still open, or at least the web site still works.

UPDATE 7 June 2024 -- To become Tati's Island Cuisine:
Cingular / AT&T, 460 Town Center Place Suite 6: 2021 5 comments
As reported by commenter Russell, this former AT&T location in Sandhill is to become a Substation II, the signage for which is already up. ColaDaily has the story.
