Commenter Ellen reported this Harbison salon to be closing on 11 November 2023, and it is definitely closed. I do see some google reviews from after that date, so I'm not sure if it ended up staying open longer, or people were just tardy in sharing their thoughts.

Looking at their Facebook, it appears that at least some of the staff are continuing on at other venues.

Cloud 9 Braid Bar, 2205 Decker Boulevard Suite A: Spring 2021   no comments

I don't really have any information on this Decker Boulevard hair salon other than it seems to have been open into the spring of 2021 and got generally good reviews. I thought I might have noted previous business in this storefront, but that appears not to be the case, although several in this strip mall have featured here.

I was at Pizza Palace last weekend, and noticed that the Jolidan African Hair Braiding salon in the same plaza had closed. Given how hard COVID-19 has been on all salons & barbers, I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case here.

I've noticed Claire Tower at the corner of Senate & Marion Streets from time to time over they years because it stands out as not typical for the area, the section of Senate Street between the State House and Pickens Street which is an area I have always thought of in connection with the old museums and planetarium as well as the State Library.

I did not know that a hair color salon was in the street level of the towers, but it was, and got quite good Yelp reviews.
