The Giving Tree, 208 West Main Street (Lexington): 2 February 2013 4 comments
Here's a little thrift shop in Lexington, not far from Lexington Arms and Mae's. Interestingly, their logo was not a tree. In fact, I'm not sure what that is.

The Giving Tree appears to be reopening on Sunset Blvd. just past the Burger King at Sunset Blvd. and Leapheart Road. Saw a new sign that resembles what TahoeChic mentions. The address is 3743 Sunset Blvd. The building used to house Phone Pro Plus of Columbia. For a very, very brief time (a couple of weeks) an auction house operated out of this building.

Actually, I got that wrong. It is the red building next to the old Phone Pro Plus of Columbia.

The Giving Tree opened a thrift store in the former Dressbarn at Dutch Square in the late spring/early summer timeframe of this year but it lasted less than 6 months....

If my memory serves me correctly, their sign did have a tree on it when they first opened. It was a rendering of what I think was supposed to be the tree on the front of the Shel Silverstein book "The Giving Tree" - which I assume is the source of their name. Not sure why they changed it.
