Tati's, headquartered on Broad River Road, were in the process of rehabilitating the old Dentsville Rush's location, but operations seem to have stalled out. I have not seen any progress on the work there over the last several months, and I have not seen the Tati's food truck parked in the parking lot lately either.

  1. I believe the street number is 2640.

  2. No, I'm sorry, I was wrong; you've got it correct with 2540.

  3. They are currently appealing for a liquor license here so I don’t think they are dead yet. I kind of wonder why places like this don’t look across the street at the old Olive Garden and Red Lobster, unless those places are in disrepair from years of vacancy.

  4. @Larry I think the old Olive Garden and Red Lobster were flooded out in the flood years ago.

  5. I do remember parts of Decker Blvd. being heavily involved with the 2015 flooding Thomas spoke of but I didn't hear for sure that the old Olive Garden & Red Lobster buildings were flooded out...I would think that if they were they would've been torn down by now.

This building (since Rush's closed) has been a revolving door of eateries between Cod Tail Seafood & Chicken, a Shaker's restaurant that I'm not sure ever opened and now this that is facing a shaky start...

  6. I'm not sure of this, but I think there is a good chance that whichever old restaurant on Decker is on the right got damaged in the 2015 flood. Jackson Creek flooded Decker and caused fatalities and it is immediately to the north of this property.

Looking at property records, both properties are owned by Kahn Properties. They have different owner companies, but the owners have the same address.

  7. Regarding the old Olive Garden and Red Lobster: That area has gone downhill so much over the last two or three decades, I doubt seriously if anyone would want to open something thee any time soon.
