Kangaroo Express, 4400 Bethel Church Road: December 2010 (new pumps) 4 comments
I don't know what was wrong with the old ones -- I used them just a month or so ago, and they seemed fine, but the Kangaroo Express in front of Trenholm Park (and across from Keith's K&A Automotive) spent several days taking out the old ones and putting in these. Maybe they needed something that goes above $9.99 per gallon..
UPDATE 10 May 2016 -- Well, I'm not going to post about every Kangaroo becoming a Circle K, but since I already had this post, I thought I would note the transition:

What I've been expecting is for BP to revive the AMOCO brand since they a) own it and b) really need a change after this summer..

There is a billboard on 26 between Piney Grove and Harbison that hinted they were going back to the "Gulf" name. That seems like ill timing.

I've seen that, but as far as I can determine from Gulfoil.com and wikipedia etc, BP does not own the Gulf brand.

The Kangaroo Express station (which uses BP gas like this one) at 3516 Bush River Road underwent changes similar to the ones your pics show in this one...perhaps it's to upgrade the electronics and such on the pump (since it looks kinda dated and starts to turn people off if you don't)
I am looking for both the stations mentioned in this post to switch to digital signs one day (but we'll see how that pans out)
