Tee'd Up was the follow-on operation in this Lake Murray adjacent building to Shooey Malone's. Judging by the farewell note on the place's Facebook, the owner had another avenue open up, and a chance to sell the property as well.

Although the note is a bit vague, something else if obviously coming, and work has already started on the building for whatever it is.

  4. Good grief. This is one of those locations that should absolutely fall under "Good Luck with That". Either this place has some kinda bad mojo or maybe whoever owns it wants a kings ransom for rent. Either way, this place is like the Bermuda Triangle...

Its close to Lake Murray, so that can't be bad for business. But its been how many different things?? Nobody could keep it going?? Tee'd Up, Shooey Malone's, Bentley's Beach House and The Dam Bar all come to mind.

Either somebody needs to burn some sage in this place or folks at the lake need to enroll in some business classes.

  5. @Lone Wolf, my husband and I are 100% in agreement with your comment!!!! We miss the pizzas from the brick pizza oven—I'm not sure which one that was. Ha!

  6. Hmmmmm - will a Mexican restaurant survive the curse? Saw a banner for La Fogata.

  7. I've seen signage leading me to believe this is being prepared for whatever is moving in next but I haven't been able to figure out the name of it (or whatever is being built next door).

  8. I have encountered signage indicating that La Fogata is preparing to set up shop in this building…
