Airport Inn, 1935 Airport Boulevard, Cayce: Summer 2013 6 comments
Looks like Airport Inn in Cayce, where ironically all the rooms are ground-floor, is renovating.
I like the blue, white & yellow color scheme on the signs. The building actually looks to be in pretty good shape, at least from a distance.
UPDATE 10 August 2013: Changed incorrect 935 address in post title to correct 1935.

Do you think the misspelling was accidental or they just didn't have any more 'O's?

Originally this was a Knight's Inn.

Knights Inn is next door at 1987 Airport. This couldn't have been a Knights Inn, as they never built two-story locations. Also, 1987 Airport shows up as a Knights Inn even in a 1988 book.

Bobby, they are faux dormers, not a second floor, I believe.
I thought it was Knight's Inn at first, too, but that is two bidnesses down toward the airport (I consulted Google Maps).
And, ted, clearly they are renavating, not renovating.

Upon further review, I think this may have been a La Qunita or a part of the "Comfort Inn" chain family.

This looks like it used to be a chain, but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe some low end chain like Travelodge or Econo Lodge?
Also, the address is 1935.
