This Burger King, between Roper Pond and the defunct bank on Trenholm Road, is the latest Columbia BK to close down for remodeling. They seem to be cranking through these upfits pretty expeditiously, so I wouldn't expect it to be closed for more than a month or so.

UPDATE 11 June 2013 -- Open again!

  1. After I looked at the first picture, I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt that the other side of the sign had the correct tense of "close" on it. But, I see from the last picture I was mistaken...LOL.

  2. Just as work on remodeling this location gets underway, the 7703 Broad River location in Irmo is now officially back in business, featuring the Coco-Cola Freestyle machine with all 127 beverage options

  4. I overheard a conversation in the Trenholm Road location between a manager and employee that led me to believe they did not think they were getting a remodel. Manager then said, "and we know what that means." Glad for them they did get one then.

It seems odd to close the Two Notch location that became a Cook Out, but to keep the second Two Notch location that is relatively close to this one (near 77) and to also keep the second Two Notch location near Beltline.

  5. Hey Ted, your recent mention of the pollen season post indicating that one of the trees on that post was taken here prompted me to look and it appears as if the post title needs to be changed from temporary to open again...
