But along with the hacking, crying and sneezing, there *are* compensations:

  1. This is my favorite season! Wonderful colors, 7 months of un-cold. Neither the heat or the pollen bother me. (Dust on the other hand.....)

    Great pictures!

  2. Now that's funny. One of these pictures, and I'm not saying which, was taken on my street. I see the very edge of my neighbor's house.

Are you stalking me, because that would be super!

  3. Love the colors, Spring, pollen and all, is something special around here. One of my favorite spots is an abandoned building in Lexington where the Yellow Jasmine and Wisteria compete like no place I have ever seen. https://flic.kr/p/9sAtaS

  5. I love wisteria when they are in bloom, but man they are a pain in the a$$ if you can't keep them in check. I have one in the back yard that, over the years, has choked two pine trees and is now almost a hedge in itself. At least it hides the dilapidated building behind it!!

When I cut through the Drexel Lake area every afternoon on the way home I noticed a lot of dogwoods in full bloom around the homes in there. Perfect timing for Easter this year!!

  7. @Homer -- 1) The Dentsville Burger King on Trenholm
2&3) Quinine HIll abuting the Walgreen's parking lot.
    4) Somewhere near Pinestraw and Satchel Ford, I think.
5&6) Actually I put two shots of this tree for some reason. I think it's on Bethel Church near Satchel Ford
    7) Pinestraw near Spring Branch, I think.
    8)Pinestraw near Ransom
9)Satchel Ford near the Two Notch end of Pinestraw
    10&11) Not sure, maye Crystal.

  8. @Ted - I was just curious. Like I said there were some beautiful flowers and trees in Drexel Lake Estates as well as around the Whitehall area this past week or so.....
