Well, I was going to do a Top 10 closings for 2013, but kept falling asleep..
One that I definitely would have put in that post, that didn't make your list is: TGI Friday's @ Richland Mall.

One of the highpoints of 2013 for me has been the discussions that this blog has brought out. Sometimes I'm able to relate to all of you about places fading off, other times it's ones that were before my time that my eyes are opened to a time before me.
When I think back on 2013, these are the ones that were the most interesting discussions (in no particular order) as well as the most notable closings to be featured here
- Kmart #7410, 6169 St. Andrews Road
- Biscuit House in Lower Richland
- Food Lion at Richardson Plaza (543 St. Andrews Road)
- Fred's at St. Andrews Shopping Center (736-C St. Andrews Road)
- Sadie's at Richland Mall
- Barnes & Noble at Harbison Court (though I rarely shopped there I liked going there)
- AC Moore (275 Harbison Blvd) only to have Total Wine move into their old space
- Shoney's at Bush River and Arrowwood (hoping to see this one become a Cookout during 2014)
2013 also brought down an end to the last remaining Blockbuster locations with the Rosewood store closing by the end of January 2014.
The most notable redevelopments I can think of are as follows for 2013:
- demolition of BK at 4416 Devine Street to make way for a PDQ that is opening in early 2014
- announcement that former Kmart at 4400 Ft. Jackson is to be redeveloped into Rosewood Crossing to be anchored by Marshall's, Micheal's and PetSmart (looking forward to this one take shape in 2014)
- former Kmart at Bush River and Arrowwood becomes NewSpring Church
- former Columbia Athletic Club becomes Trader Joe's #753
- Several midlands Piggly Wiggly locations become Bi-Lo
- Steak N Shake finally features here only to get demolished in favor of a new M Kitchen/Grille to open in early 2014
- CHEF'STORE opens up at 655 St. Andrews Road in a former Display Center (Piggly Wiggly prior to that)
- former doctor's office at Harbison Blvd and Park Terrace Drive completes a shopping development called Columbiana on Park featuring Staples, Ulta, DSW and HomeGoods
- Consignment 1st moves out to Irmo into the former Floor it Now and rebrands themselves Main Street Home
- Staples/Consignment 1st/Husdon's at 281 Park Terrace drive razed in favor of a new development to be anchored by Academy Sports+Outdoors
- GolfSmith opens at Harbison Court (former Office Depot)
- Several Burger Kings get remodeled and that now feature the Coco-Cola Freestyle
- Sonic at the former Hardee's on Forest Drive
- Cookout in a former Taco Bell in Lexington
