I believe I got a battery at NTB once and it was fine. I was not really aware of this particular location, but it seems a bit hard to get in and out of to me. Hopefully the staff were able to go to the Harbison location called out on the closing sign.

We'll see what comes in next here, probably something else car related.

I just noticed that NTB was bought out by Mavis in 2020. That might account for this NTB and the one on Garners Ferry a while back, as there is a Mavis not too far from either.

The exterior looks a little strange. I did some digging. It opened in 1983 it opened as National Tire Warehouse and was rebranded in Tire America in 1994 (Sears owned both brands at the time); then got rebranded again as NTB when Sears combined the two brands.

@badger, Mavis bought some of the NTB stores but not all of them. It doesn't look Columbia was an affected market.

I lived on St. Andrews Road when this was built. There was a pond at the location and St. Andrews Road was 2 lanes. Never got over losing the pond.
