Dazzles Pageant & Prom Attire, 2500 North Beltline Boulevard: Spring 2012 (moved) 6 comments
I'm afraid I'm well past prom age, so I wasn't really aware of this little formal-wear shop in the plaza which houses
Dazzles is listed in this year's (February 2012) phonebook, so the closing seems to be fairly recent. I wonder if the economy is cutting into prom spending -- it certainly has affected everything else.
UPDATE 21 May 2012: Commenter Larry notes that Dazzles has moved to Boozer Shopping Center, so I have added "moved" to the post title.

Yeah, apparently the whole building is 2500. I'm sure everyone has their own suite number, but it's not listed in the phonebook, and I didn't notice it on the storefront.

It should be 2005. Maybe there's a misprint somewhere. I have a 2008 phonebook, and both D's and Dazzles are listed as 2005. And there's a hair stylist in the building also at 2005.

Dazzles has moved to the Boozer Shopping Center. From their website: "Moving to new location at 1573 Broad River Rd. Columbia, SC 29210, Located in Boozer Shopping Center, Opening New Location Jan 3, 2012!"
So not closed, just moved. I think there are some related businesses near them there.

A relief for the clientele of Dazzles. At least, there are still in the business and their clients won’t be hassled for checking up a new shop.

does it show up at 2500 Forest Drive in the directory?? because I know D's Wings (which you say this in the same set of shoppes as) is addressed to 2005 Beltline...
