Quiznos Sub, 278 Harbison Boulevard, Suite J: Feb 2011 14 comments
This Quiznos is in the Barns & Noble plaza on Harbison, right in-between where Sesame Inn used to be and Barnes & Noble itself.
Normally I'm a little sceptical when a place claims to be closed on a temporary basis as these periods without money coming in have a way of becoming permanent. On the other hand, in this case, the pickles are still in the pickle jars, so there's some evidence that, at the least, the store hasn't been unstocked.
(Hat tip to commenter Tom)
UPDATE 10 March 2011 -- As mentioned in the comments, the closure looks pretty permanent now:
b>UPDATE 15 March 2013 -- It's now a Yoghut:

Hasn't this location been closed and then reopened before?

I think you're right, that it had closed and reopened about a year and a half ago.

I sadly can't predict anything one way or the other but I can say that Quizno's still shows up in their spot on the Harbison Court lease plan.

Hmm. Well, I have no idea, I'm afraid. I usually park on the other side of B&N. OTOH, I would have thought I would have noticed the "closed" sign taped up on the door when I was taking pictures of Sesame Inn. For what it's worth, you can see that the "Quiznos" sign is illuminated in those pics, taken 24 Sep 2010..

I did notice in one of the pictures that they have been closed long enough for one of ADT's sales reps to plaster their business card to the front door. This makes me wonder how long it has been since the owner was by there. But the Pepsi distributor hasn't reclaimed their machine yet, so there might still be hope.

My wife and I ate there just a couple of months ago. We were surprised to see it reopen after so many other locations around town had closed. recently I saw an on-line story about the chain and that it is expected to close quite a few locations across the country.
Part of the reason, according to some of the websites I read, is that they are considered one of the worst companies to own a franchise of. They have been sued by a number of franchisees over the cost of doing business with them and unfullfilled obligations etc.

There is now posted on their door a legal summons to the franchise oweners to appear in court over non-payment of rent. I guess we can remove "tempoary" from this posting now.

I went there yesterday and there was an eviction notice requiring them to vaccate the premise by 7:30 am on April 1. The place looked no differnt on the inside than the day I noticed the "temporarily closed" sign.

I just checked the site plan from DDR and it lists Quizno's as dark...

Ok folks, after a while, Quizno's at this site was listed as 'dark' on the siteplan for Harbison Court (linked earlier for anyone interested in seeing it). It went to 'available' for a time but now it appears that Yoghut is about to move into this shop. So as Harbison Court welcomes Anna's Linens, Yoghut will join the mix shortly thereafter

Ellen mentioned in Have Your Say an indication that the Yoghut that came here closed. So I pulled up Harbison Court's listing on DDR.com and it appears to me as if their space is going to make way for more Norstrom Rack space (ditto for the space next door that once housed Harbison Dental).

So I had dinner with my parents tonight at Outback Steakhouse at Harbison Court and it turns out that Yoghut will actually be moving next to Outback Steakhouse...

They've been closed for at least a year now.
