It wasn't offices, IIRC, Homer, the plan was to build condos where Black Lion was.

I have pics of this in the old Dress Barn of posters depicting what they have in mind on easels. My impression is that they were targeting possilbities of a medical, technical or office space (based on the posters that used to hang inside the old Dress Barn)
As I remember the plan Homer references: the plan was to build condos and medical suites. This was during the period Midtown Management took it over and even tried to rebrand it as Midtown at Forest Acres. Those plans fell through and then the mall went through foreclosure. About 3 years ago, Century Capitol Group in conjunction with Kahn Development bought the mall in a foreclosure proceedings and they've been trying ever since to bring new life into what is now known as Richland Mall.
