Commenter James notes that the larger part of this Sunset Boulevard building is now for lease.

It appears that this is the result of Good As New Consignments vacating the left suite of the building and consolidating with Good As New Furniture in the right suite.

UPDATE 15 May 2017 -- As reported in the comments, the main portion of this building is now a distillery:

  1. Too bad you weren't there during normal business hours. Your pictures of the marquee would have shown all the junk I was talking about lining the street. I guess this means the eye sore will remain. Oh, well. At least it is likely to be on a smaller scale now that they have a smaller place.

  2. So the follow up operation to this space, Absolute Discount Mattress, has closed. Not surprising. As it has been mentioned on other posts, there are way to many mattress stores along this stretch of 378.

  3. Yesternight Distillery has opened in this location. Yesternight was originally in the Old Mill in Lexington, but lost everything in the October 2015 flood when the dam broke. They were the only business in Lexington to lose everything. According to their Facebook page, they reopened in this new location on February 11, 2017.

  4. Yesternight Distillery that opened in this location following the Absolute Discount Mattress closing, has closed. The owner of Good as New Consignment (and the landlord for the space) said Yesternight closed November 1, 2017. The landlord said they may reopen somewhere else, but this location just did not provide them with enough foot traffic.
