Adrenaline Trampoline Park & Entertainment Center, 7451 Garners Ferry Road: March 2020 3 comments
According to The State Adrenaline trampoline park opened on 26 May 2018 in the old Piggly Wiggly building. I used to love trampolines, always trying to visit King's Funland when at Pawleys, but I have to admit the thought of getting on one now would scare me to death. That's gravity and middle age for you!
I know my niece went to this location at least once, and actually had another free pass that she never got around to redeeming. Now, of course, it's too late. Adreneline has been closed since the start of the lockdown, and sometime in the last month or so, they announced they would not be coming back.
I'm not sure what the deal with the tiger was.
(Hat tip to my sister)

Yes, they were on the north end of the island, past the pier. King's Funland was a concrete building open on one side to the dunes and on the other (west) side to the trampoline park. There were concessions and arcade games inside.
The trampolines were in pits at ground level, and when it rained, the pits would tend to fill up. (For that matter, the trampolines would bow and hold water themselves).
The place was, I think, the second to last commercial business on the Island and was gone by the '80s. Wish I had some pictures!

Folks it appears to me as if Altitude Trampoline Park is moving into this space.

ted - I remember trampolines at Pawleys but never knew the official name. These were on the island itself, not on US 17?
