Sandy's Famous Hot Dogs, 5175 Sunset Boulevard Suite 13: 31 December 2019 3 comments
This Sandy's was in Lexington in the same plaza as McAlister's Deli. I never ate at this one -- If I'm going to drive out to this area to eat, it's probably Uno.
Here again is a story on the owner's retirement.
I believe I have now covered all of the Sandy's locations that were open until the end. As I recall, there was a location on Parklane once, maybe I'll try to find that building someday.

Years ago there was a Sandy's very near Richland Hispital. It would have probably been on Marshall or Liberty Street. There was a Hardees nearby, long gone, and a Subway that is probably still open. You could see the Sandy's from SC 277.

I have a vague recollection of the Sandy's Bobby mentioned...apparently it was at 1729 Marshall Street which has had several other things come and go since then but Sandy's was mentioned on the BJ's page in the comments but that is the extent of it being mentioned here at this point...

ted - I think the Sandy's on Parklane was either in the same building or very close to where Sounds Familiar was located. You featured that closing in 2009. Looking at the pictures, they building had red awnings and looked like it could have been a Sandy's.
