This place, literally under Dutch Square, has featured here before when the playground, probably bowing to safety standards, deep sixed the iconic robot. After that, the playground area was completely fenced off and had the picnic tables ripped up.

Now the whole place has closed, like quite a few other Hardee's lately. I don't have much to say about that, but given the new Cookout just across Bush River Road, and the McDonald's at the top of the hill, I don't see another burger operation going into this building soon, if ever. If it's anything, I would expect perhaps a Nick's or something similar. Of course, the way things are going recently, I wouldn't rule out a King's Pizza.

  1. What is up with the King's Pizza? I see those signs everywhere now!
