Yogo Novus, 110 Clemson Road: May 2017 4 comments
I used to eat frozen yogurt from time to time, but have pretty much quit. If I am getting a cold treat, I don't want a "fat free" anything, I want a "fat full" experience. Be that as it may, if froyo is your thing, it's not your thing here anymore.
(BTW, you always hear that the three most important words are 'I love you', but really it's 'Hot Doughnuts Now').

Yogo Novus sounds like a planet in a sci-fi movie. I tried the frogurt thing a few times but it's amazing how quickly that little bowl of yogurt with a few toppings turns into a $10 dessert. Not to mention a lot of the flavors have a sour, metallic flavor to them. I don't know if that's just me, but I'm with you Ted. Give me the full fat ice cream experience.

Their fro yo was always gross to me and I do love froyo.
Also, Hunter Gatherer isn't the only brewpub - there's Twisted Spur on Gervais St which opened last year, and Old Mill Brewpub out in Lexington.

But I'd definitely say the quick fire pizza is a boom that I'm not a fan of. If I want pizza, I want GOOD pizza.

One of the last of the FroYo boom. Columbia seems to have a "boom" every couple years in a category: brewpubs (Hunter Gatherer only one left), bagels, tapas, casual fine dining steak restaurants, flex/mex tacos, frozen yogurt...
I haven't decided whether the next "boom/bust" is going to be quick fire pizzas or quick cooked to order hamburgers ala Smashburger/Freddy's.... or perhaps it will be both....
