Ozzie's Country Island, 1420 Charleston Highway: November 2019 5 comments
I have not been able to get over here during the daytime with time to stop, but here are some night shots of the former Ozzie's on the Charleston Highway near the former Kmart.
Judging by the google reviews, it was a country sports-bar with live music. The most recent reviews are tagged, rather vaguely, 3 Months Ago, but it was reported here on 12 December 2019, so I am just calling the closing "November 2019".
To me it looks as though it might have been a restaurant at one time, and commenter badger60 suggests it was another club, called Crockett's back in the 80s.

I second Zach's note of it being a Quincy's. I actually used to eat there as a little kid actually around the early 90s.

I thought it looked familiar. The old Sunset location had a similiar look.

The entrance-way is a dead giveaway for an old Quincy's. I have a vague memory of walking into Ozzie's years ago for some reason. I guess the vibe wasn't working for me, as I don't remember staying long at all.

I believe Ozzie died a year or two ago. I think his family kept it going for a little while.

This used to be Quincy’s years ago. Also remember it being The Woodshed and Double Deuce before Ozzie’s took it over.
