Shoe Carnival, 142 Harbison Boulevard: September 2017 (moved)   6 comments

Posted at 11:23 pm in closing

Well, this has already been extensively ventilated in Have Your Say, but Shoe Carnival has moved down the hill from Columbiana Station by Old Navy to Harbison Court.

The new location, seen below, is the former home of Regency Beauty Institute (on which I never did a closing) and right next to the previous (and recently departed) shoe store in that complex, Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse.

  1. For the record, the space that Shoe Carnival recently moved out of was originally a Dressbarn...

Shoe Carnival was originally in Harbison Court where Dollar Tree is now as I recall...

  2. I went in Shoe Carnival's new location at Harbison today and I was blown away by the down sizing of the selection of ladies Skecher's. I ask the employee why they had such a tiny selection of Skecher's, she responded,to make room for all the other brands. I buy a lot of Skecher's, BYE BYE, finding another store. No time for this Shoe Carnival. Not enough select for BIGI50%, SAD

  3. Noticed some façade work today, checked and found out that West Marine has plans to open up in this this space...

  4. So apparently West Marine has a grand opening date here of March 17 (per a link palmettoconnection posted) in Have Your Say...

The thing of it is, West Marine currently has a location at Dutch Square and this makes me wonder about the future of that one as it's along a row that has a recently closed Wes Bolieck Bedrooms...

  5. I stand corrected, it's actually (after further checking) Wes Bolick Bedroom that recently closed at Dutch Square...

  6. So it appears to me as if West Marine going in here is them moving from Dutch Square. On the Bush River Road side there were several storefronts between the former Belk and Burlington that were there with exterior entrances & visibility...There is one closest to Burlington that is the Wes Bolick one that I mentioned earlier as having closed. Then on the other side (towards Belk) is where West Marine just moved out as part of their move to this spot at Columbiana Station...
