The Lost Cajun was the follow-on operation to Yumilicious in this Lexington strip mall.

The State article on the closing mentions that there is another SC location in Greenville, and as far as I can tell, that location is still open, and the chain's site lists a number of restaurants in other states.

As you can see, the signage is already up for this storefront to become a Palmetto Subs location.

  1. Noticed about 7 PM on Friday evening that Palmetto Subs, the follow-up to The Lost Cajun, was not open. Does anyone know if they have closed permanently? I did not see any signs on the door indicating their hours or a neon "open" sign that was simply dark, but there also was not any notice posted on the door of the place being closed permanently. It would not surprise me if they have closed. This spot has not done well as a restaurant and there are plenty of other sandwich shops in Lexington. Sub Shop II just opened another location at I-20 and Sunset Blvd about a mile away from here and McCallister's Deli is less than that going the other direction.
