After the Forest Acres location closed in the fall of 2012, this Sunset Boulevard location was the chain's only remaining Midlands (or indeed South Carolina) location. In fact, looking at the Yumilicious website, it appears that all the remaining locations are in Texas.

I'm afraid I never stopped at either location, having more or less given up on anything yogurt related years ago since it all seems to be non-fat, or low-fat today. If I'm going to have a frozen treat, it's going to be full-fat..

  1. It was a good place. Large and they offered many varieties of yogurt. We always enjoyed it. Sad to see it go.

  3. Lost Cajun, the follow up to Yumlicious, has closed according to The State. A new restaurant, Palmetto Subs, is scheduled to replace it.

  4. So I drove by the other day and did not see the neon open sign in the window of Palmetto Subs. It wasn't just that the sign was turned off (they kept some very limited hours), but that the sign was not in the window at all. I'm thinking maybe Palmetto Subs has closed up shop as well.

On a side note - Lost Cajun and Buddy's Saucy Dogs both closed about the same time and now it seems One Taco, Two Taco and Palmetto Subs, their respective replacements, may have closed at the same time as well. Coincidence? Or are they somehow related?
