Jewelry Warehouse, 2909 Platt Springs Road: May 2013 (relocating) 8 comments
Platt Springs road has an improbable number of jewelry stores, but now there is one less, and Lonely Street is in fact a bit more lonely..
According to their ad, Jewelry Warehouse had been there since 1977. Now they have closed their flagship store, and are in the process (which seems a bit protracted) of moving to Parkland Plaza and into the old Parkland Pharmacy location.

^I always liked the 67-69 T-birds, probably because of Hot Wheels one I had as a kid.
I'd have ripped off the vinyl roof and Landau bars, though. maybe put on some Cragar SS rims with redline tires and painted it hot metallic aquamarine ;-)

Holy crap tonka - blind me with that paint job!! Just give me a 67 Corvette convertible, burgundy, with a sweet 427 under the hood. I will take the Cragar mags. They were always my favorites in the day!!!!

I'm an aluminum slot guy. Had a set of them on my 69 Charger. Needless to say, I was a huge DMCL fan.

Let's not forget that Garnet & Black Traditions will be setting up next door in the former Hi-Lites as part of this relocation process...
