The Tilted Kilt, 380 Columbiana Drive: Early June 2017 8 comments
Well, often in these situations, the "closed for remodeling" rubric is more a vague hope than a description of something that will actually happen. However, Wet Willie's finally did come back, so who knows? The external indications are mixed: this location is gone from the company website, but the signage has not been taken down.
At any rate The Tilted Kilt replaced Huller's German restaurant in this location, opening in early 2014. The chain is a "breastaurant" concept like Hooters but with a faux Scottish flair. I only went to this location once, when I was looking for something open late that wasn't just burgers. They had some sort of mashed potato pie thing on the menu that looked like it would be a) Pretty good & b) Hard to mess up. Either one or the other of those assumptions turned out to be wrong, though the scenery was nice.

I can confirm that this was originally Sticky Fingers as IrmoJeff indicated...
I never made it to Tilted Kilt but was considering going but it never worked out...

I know when they first opened they got a a bad rep for being too pricey and according to a former manager a talked to, their corporate had to redo their price structure for that location.
Doing a Google search I noticed that a number of their locations nationwide had had problems with health inspections. I do not know if this was a factor here or not.Tom

The building is now for sale so I'm afraid any plans to bring this building back have fallen through (and any plans to bring back temporary on the post title can be shelved)...

Im pretty sure this was originally Sticky Fingers.
I went to TK twice. Both times i found the waitresses to be inattentive. Maybe this will sound a little cavemanish, but a guy goes to a breasteraunt to get in a little flirting in. I can go anywhere for mediocre bar food. Ive never been to a Hooters where the waitresses werent attentive, most of the time overly so.
