I was not aware of this little Island restaurant on Hardscrabble until commenter Sidney mentioned its passing. It looks like while the storefront has closed, you can still get catering.

I met with the owners of this place about 3 years ago. They were looking for investors to open a store in Harbison. They already had a store in 5 Points at that time and I believe it closed a while back also. But the thing is, I can't remember the exact details, but I think they wanted a $4000 investment but it would take about 10 years just to get that initial investment back before I started making money. I told them that I can make $4000 a week in stocks if I play it right, which I have several times. So I had to tell them, NO WAY! I don't think they ever opened the one in Harbison. About 6 months after our meeting, they opened up this one on Hardscrabble.
