Piggly Wiggly #86, 4360 Augusta Road: 11 October 2013 6 comments
Here's another Pig closing from last year. This one is on the East side of US-1 not too far from the Barnyard flea market. Interestingly, the address is Lexington, though I did not think Lexington started that far South.
Though several recently closed Pigs have become Bi-Los, there is no sign of another tenant for this one yet.

No, I'm afraid I wasn't even really aware of this Pig before it closed. Maybe I can get some through the door next time I drive by -- I was in a bit of a rush at the time.

i think the associates at this pig were givein the chance at bi-lo because this is one bi-lo bought and decided not to reopen it just close it because i think there a bi-lo a couple miles down the rd why open the same store when they can just close it and give employees the chance at other bi-lo locations
i think that what happen at this location because i read bi-lo bought this location as wellsean

I think they should turn the former pig in Irma into a iga as well it might do well there

I went to this Pig one time in my life, several years ago when all the pigs had Market Umbrellas on sale. All the pigs between where I live and there were sold out so, I drove to that one to get the "Red" Umbrellas (Four no less) that my wife had to have, to go by the swimming pool.
