Wristwatch Doc, 4601-B Forest Drive: 24 April 2014 (moved) 3 comments
Well, I see I've already done a somewhat confused post on Wristwatch Doc when they opened a workspace on Fort Jackson Boulevard, but I'm going to make this a new post anyway.
As of yesterday, they have moved from the storefront on Forest Drive in the Brueggers building and out to 534 Knox Abbott Drive in Cayce. This, of course, is the former Signs 2 Go location.
I wish them well, but it was very convenient for me to have my watch batteries changed and get new bands at the Forest Drive location.

Dude, you drive all around town taking pictures of all of these closed businesses. Any place in town is convenient to you. lol

They should have changed their name to Wristwatch Exchange the Typewriter Exchange could have been "Typewriter Doc", just saying.

I know there is a bigger market for watch repair than typewriters, but outside of band and battery changes, how many people (outside of Rolex, Tag Heuer and other high end brands) actually have their watches serviced? And if they own such a watch they have to take it to an authorized service center. Heck, I haven't worn a watch since I got my first cell phone.
