Carolina Wings & Rib House, 2347-C Augusta Road: January 2012 4 comments
Well, Badger's theory aside, I think we can pretty surely say that the Carolina Wings & Rib House in West Columbia by the Bi-Lo is gone for good.
I think this almost certainly has to be the result of their filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on 9 November 2011. The chain supposedly owed between $1 and $10 million to various creditors, and I would guess that this was not one of their more profitable locations.

Agreed. This place was pretty bottom-of-the-barrel. The ones on Gervais and in Lexington were usually good in my experience. Still, D's will always be my favorite wing place.

My brother and I had lunch here Nov. 2010 and as I recall it wasn't very busy then and in hindsight, I get the impression that it was rarely busy so that couldn't have helped...

Well this sucks!! Very convenient and JUST AS GOOD as the preppy Gervais St., hard to get in and out of, and the Lexington snooty people locations. Guess I'm switching wing places.
