Here's another defunct cash advance place, this one on Knox Abbott Drive just down from Tony's Pizza. As is a fixture on (fairly) newly closed businesses this time of year, you can see the new, uncollected, phonebook in a bag by the door. (The same is true for Master Tire if you look closely.)

So many of these places you can see all their is to see about them without even going inside them it seems to me. I have zero need for any of them and I recall the state house was trying to set some new regulations about the way they do business (details are rather scarce as far as my memory goes)...

The act that they are going out of business shows how risky those loand are. they can't even stay open at the rates they are charging because the default rates are so high.

It's good to see this check advance places close up though, there was a dearth of them and they pray on people who don't realize the therms of cash advances.
