Habit Burger & Grill, 5304 Sunset Boulevard: May 2026 4 comments
I actually thought this place was closed several months ago because I never saw any cars there, and I had to ride around the parking lot to verify it was open. That was then & this is now, I guess...
Since I rarely watch TV or listen to the radio anymore, I don't have any idea what the distinguishing feature for this chain was, or why I would pick it over Five Guys on the high-end or McDonalds on the low end. In the event, perhaps I was not alone.
Certainly all in all, I would much rather still have Pizzeria Uno on this spot.
The State has the story.

By far the biggest problem was the location. It was hard to get into and really hard to get back out. I don't see any business doing well here unless that can be fixed. Their onion rings were the best I have had, and there was a free toppings bar with jalapeños. They do well in their base in California, may have expanded too far.

This sort of goes along with Bobby's comment. I think Sunset Boulevard is a risky place to have a business/location of a business now. It's so crammed with stand-alone businesses, strips, and plazas. I "plan" my trips to places on that road - it's not always easy to stop at a new place on a whim.

I agree with Bobby that their onion rings were very good! I thought their burgers were OK, but nothing special.

I ate there a few times and really enjoyed the burgers. I think you hit it on the head with the 5 guys/McDonalds comparison. It was too expensive for fast food and didn't offer a 5 Guys hook like a ridiculous amount of fries.
I miss Pizzeria Uno too, no decent deep dish pizza is available around here.
