United Auto Sales moved to this location in 2012 after their old location on Forest Drive was torn down to build Cook Out. Although Google is labeling this location as Temporarily Closed, I think it is more likely that United has shut down for good after a 12 year run here.

  1. I believe this was originally a First National Bank of SC and then became a SCN branch.

  2. @Joe. You are correct. This was a First National. I am not sure it was an SCN since they already had a branch at Devine and the Rosewood extension only a mile or two away.

  3. It was a
    FNB in the 1970s
    Security Federal in the 1980s,
    "Southern National" in the 1990s
Arthur State Bank in the mid 2000s

  4. I believe badger60s memory is better than mine.

  5. Thanks, I appreciate the compliment, but it wasn't memory. I looked up the address in the State Newspaper archives to see what all had been at that address. The only one I could actually put my finger on from memory was Arthur.

  6. The bank had a sign displaying the time, temperature, and savings rates.
