Cletus' Roadside Grille, 11210 Broad River Road: July 2014 5 comments
Cletus' Roadside Grille was the latest restaurant to try to make a go of it in the old Whale's Tail spot. I'm not sure what their menu was, but the name puts me in the mind of down-home Southern cooking. I like the colorful, retro logo too.

A place called Yard Bird Broasted chicken did open here for a time but now it appears as if said restaurant has closed up shop...

So While the Yard Bird Broasted Chicken didn't last (never featured here) I've noted the last couple of times I've been down this stretch of US 176 that a Mexican restaurant called La Fogata is planning to set up shop per signage that you see as you drive by...

Cletus, I like that name. I will name my next born Cletus, boy or girl, it doesn't matter.
