Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint, 610 Main Street: July 2018 4 comments
Uncle Maddio's was the follow-on in this location for Jasmine Deli & Cafe and opened sometime in 2013. I never ate there, and had not realized until looking at this post that in fact Uncle Maddio's is a chain of franchaises based in Atlanta, and is another fast casual pizza concept like Persona, Blaze, and Firenza.
Looking at the company web site, it appears this was the only South Carolina location, and the next closest is in Charlotte.

I considered trying this place but the probelm was that parking nearby was very hard to come by...that's a big problem with the USC campus in general...that's what has dissuaded me from trying this place (and I wouldn't be surprised if there are other out there that feel as I do)...

Well, dang. I used to work within walking distance of it, and we ate there often and always really enjoyed it. The owner was often around; he was a nice guy and enjoyed chatting with his customers.

It was quite good, but I often forgot it was there, also like others have said parking was terrible.

That sucks, their lunch personal pizzas were the perfect size. Always seem to have customers too, however that building seems to be one of those "everything dies here" spots.
