The Pantry / Kangaroo Express / KC Express / Circle K, 7735 Broad River Road: 2018 10 comments
There seems to be a little online confusion about the address here, but I'm pretty sure it's 7735 Broad River Road, as that is what the real estate listing and LoopNet say, regardless of what google thinks otherwise.
As you can see from the first two shots (from the Ed Robinson closing) this old-school convenience store was still in operation on 20 February 2018. At some point between then and 28 May 2018 when commenter Andrew reported it, the place closed and had the pump island and canopy torn down (and excavated).
Although I have seen places with two ongoing Circle Ks across the street from each other, most likely this one closed when the more modern one at 7710 Broad River Road came online just a bit nearer to the I-26 intersection:

Mikey you're right in saying it was a Kangaroo Express originally. Several years ago Circle K bought Kangaroo Express and most locations were rebranded Circle K. Be that as it may, the one at 3516 Bush River Road was rebranded KC Express.
Then Circle K bought land up the road at Broad River Road & Columbiana Drive (and an existing traffic signal was upgraded to accommodate the Circle K). Now something is under construction next door (idk what it will wind up being though I bet it'll be some type of eating place). Now this location closed up shop and perhaps this and the former dry cleaners next door will combine to something going forward...

According to an employee at the new Circle K, the new building going up next door will be a Starbucks.

If you look at the pictures in the real estate link, you can see that it was a Circle K when it closed, but I will add Kangaroo Express and KC Express to the post title.

This was probably a Pantry before it was Kangaroo. I think just about all the Kangaroos were originally Pantry stores.

I grew up in the neighborhood directly behind this store, and my parents still live there. This was definitely a Pantry for many many years

Was this a Circle K? I think it was a Kangaroo? It was a BP filling station, as I recall. I know it got robbed several times.
