South Carolina State Fair 2016, Fairgrounds: 23 October 2016 3 comments
I got back to town a bit late this year, and missed out on some of my State Fair usuals because the buildings closed early the final day, so no art, flowers, sand sculpture or baby ducks this year. I was able to have my annual Italian sausage sandwich, Fiske fries and ride the skyway, swings and bumper cars. Most of the regular rides were there, along with a couple of new, or at least re-painted wacky-house type walk-throughs. Apparently the rocket is no longer the "Time-Warner Rocket" and is just back to "The Rocket", though it does have a few new sponsorship plaques at the base. I still miss the Steel Building: That corner just does not feel right without it.

It's the regular closing-cam: A Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7. Videos are hidef mp4s, then of course youtube does whatever to it it is that they do. Yeah, I noticed the focus thing while I was filming. Taking stills while the video was going seemed to help it get its mind off all the lights and motion and actually focus-in. You can probably see it a little better if you do full-screen or go to the Youtube page

I can certainly see it is hidef. I may like to use some of the stills from time to time. I recently purchased a Dell XPS13 with CORE i7 7th Gen and your pictures look fabulous on it.

@Ted- I enjoyed the video, quality was great, colors wonderful. What type camera? Auto focus was a little slow at times but expected considering you were in motion.
