Well, here is this week's closed Radio Shack.

This one was on Two Notch Road in front of Target, and can't have been helped by being so close to Best Buy though I believe this store predates that. In the event, I don't believe I ever shopped this store.

Comment: I went by this store not too long after the announcement came out about the closings and it was already gone. I think this one had already closed up shop beforehand.

Comment: This one was undergoing a liquidation process in the final week much like the one at Bush River Village was and both closed around the same time...those two in conjunction with East Forest Plaza were the quickest to liquidate (though I didn't note anything about East Forest Plaza until after said store had closed).

I think Columbiana's closed fairly quickly as well but I didn't make it in during the liquidation to know for sure..

Parkland Plaza and Shoppes at Woodhill were slower but I think those two are now completed. I feel like the Marketplace at Harden one is taking the longest...

Comment: Just by way of adding info:

This store used to be next to the old WalMart and opened around 1995/1996. It was the first store to the left of WalMart. This is before the WalMart built that giant space they occupy now.

The Two Notch store was store #2372.

At some point, it moved to the location you photographed here, but by then I had moved to the other side of town.

Comment: Google maps has lead me to believe that this store has roots in Columbia Place Mall...

I think Polo Plaza (home of the former Walmart Mikey referenced) is situated in an awkward manner and I wonder how long CVS there will hold on...
