Well, that was fun!

Normal posting should resume today barring any work emergencies piled up in the last 3 weeks.

  2. Thanks!

I must have looked at at least 100 themes that were all deficient in my eyes in some respect before finding this one. It's called "Andrea" and comes with this cryptic/sweet dedication:

Most beautiful WordPress theme ever made, inpired by an incredible woman.

  3. Is that the AF Museum at Eglin or Tyndall? I want to say Eglin, but it has been a while.

  4. That's "Fantasy of Flight" in Polk City Fl (on I-4 between Tampa and Orlando). It's run by one of those eccentric rich guys, so it's not a "regular" museum. In general, all the planes are flight ready, and he could say any morning "Roll that one out -- I'm going to fly it today". Really neat stuff!

  5. Ted,

Love the photos of the aircraft. Kirmit Meeks (sp) is the owner of Fantasy of Flight. One of the best ready to fly collections is the world. What makes airplanes fly? Money!

  7. Oh, and it's Kermit *Weeks*. The guy is really hardcore -- they have a whole hanger full of *just* vintage engines so he'll always have replacements. The guide said "and we'll be glad to sell you one -- if you'll promise in writing to only use it in an authenticly restored vintage plane..".
