Biscuitville, 7924 Garners Ferry Road: 29 June 2025 4 comments
I hope everyone has been enjoying their Summer: I know I have!
As the season winds down, I hope to get back to more regular posting.
I was not really aware of this Biscuitville, and in fact have not been to the chain at all, despite having the taste for a sausage biscuit every now and then.
The State says this location opened in March of 2024, so it lasted a bit more than a year. The story didn't give any reason for the closing, but it is located rather close to a Bojangles where biscuits also feature heavily on the menu.
The back yard is rather nice with a good bit of greenspace and their own retention pond, which is more attractive than most with a good stand of reeds or cattails taking advantage of the opportunity.

I tried the one in Ballentine recently. The service was good, the food, meh. Personally, I think Hardee's or Bojangles have better biscuits that what I had. Also the Mt. Dew tap poured out Diet Mt. Dew.

how could a place like this economically survive? not being open for dinner is an automatic death sentence for a restaurant.

You would think so, but OPH, Eggs Up & Vicious Biscuit are the same way.

Very sad to see it go, developed an inordinate fondness for Biscuitville during a sojourn in North Carolina. I went to this location several times even though it was in the opposite side of town for me.
