Liberty Tap Room & Grill, 828 Gervais Street: Summer 2024 5 comments
As commenter Larry mentions, Liberty Tap Room is going through extensive renovations -- so extensive that in fact it will open as a new restaurant Taco Mundo Kitchen y Cantina. This is another place I never got to, though I think I may have been to the one in Myrtle Beach, which is still open as far as I can tell.

The downtown Greenville location also closed about the same time as this location did too. @Ted Liberty’s Lake Murray location aka Liberty on the Lake is still open as well.

Another Mexican restaurant is being built? I love a good taco myself every once and a while but can we get something new like Krystal's or a Jack in the box?

I vividly recall eating here with a few coworkers the week that sh*t started getting real regarding Covid. I recall us watching the TV in there and seeing reports of one thing after another closing or canceling. That was our last meal out as a group for about a year.
