Circle K, 8500 Two Notch Road: April 2024 5 comments
I'm not sure what the issue was here, this location, at the corner of Two Notch & Alpine, seems like a reasonably good one for a gas station, and closing shop leaves all the traffic to the Pitt Stop on the opposite corner. The store does look like it is a little smaller than the current Circle K buildouts, so that could be an issue, or they just could have gotten a good offer for the property, I suppose. At any rate, this circle is squared.

This was originally Gulf which changed to BP in early 1990's. Sometimes after it changed to Shell. It changed to Circle K and there was Shell on both corners of Two Notch and Alpine. Circle K removed the Shell brand and it recently closed.

Hey not sure if you covered it but the Dairy Queen in Lexington at 1100 S Lake Dr, Lexington, SC 29073 is now listed as permanently closed? I'm not sure of the exact date?

Wasn’t this the notorious location where a teenage boy was gunned by the store owner last year? Or am I thinking of another Circle K in that area?
