Midlands Tech Demolition, Rosewood Drive: May 2023 3 comments
I meant to get back, get out of the car and get some decent pictures, but in the event I never did. At any rate, Midlands Tech was doing some demolition on the Rosewood side of the campus recently. It looks like they're putting up a "Midlands Technical College Center For Business and Information Technologies". Anyone know what they took down?

I was thinking the same thing Andrew. I couldn't remember what this building was called, even though I spent a lot of time in it back in the 90s. I remember they did this with the auto shop too, rebuilt it and slapped a parking garage on top.

The LET building being demolished will be converted into parking with greenery and landscaping, allowing the newly constructed Center for Business & Information Technology to shine!

Checking this older Beltline campus map I think that the LET building is being demolished and something being rebuilt...I know the library building had something similar happen a few years back.
