I was not really aware of Ready To Play but apparently it was a gaming center for table-top and card games like Magic The Gathering. Their Facebook page has posts into early January 2022, so I'll use that as the closing date.

Has there been confirmation that Ready to Play has actually closed? Ready to Play is actually in the back of this building. There's a door around the side, in the back. It was still open when work started on this educational center. I've been very confused myself though, since RTP hasn't had any Facebook posts in weeks, even though a new Magic the Gathering product just came out and normally they'd have events going on related to that. I'd been wondering if they'd closed, it just seemed odd that they had no posts at all about that. Of course having no posts at all for almost two months is odd, too.

Well, if you click the map icon and then look in google streetview, you can see that the sign by the road used to say "Ready To Play" and it doesn't now, which I took as indicative.

I didn't realize it lasted that long. It was a popular place for many years, they actually started in another building just down the road. I think Covid was the death knell.
