Hardee's, 451 Killian Road: Mid June 2021 5 comments
It seems to me that quite a few Hardee's have closed recently. This one was actually fairly new, part of the Killian's Crossing build-up. As far as I can determine from google reviews, it was open as recently as two weeks ago, so I am calling the closing at mid-June 2021.
From the way this place is being totally gutted, I would guess they already have the next tenant lined up.

If this one was an example of Hardee's in general, a lot more will be closing. Every single time I went there (because Chic-fil-a and McD's had a long line), I got cold fries. Could have been worse and been generally, consistently terrible like the Burger Kings.

Hardee's seems to periodically lose it's way. Growing up, Hardee's was always the go to place for a "good" fast food breakfast and good burgers. It's seems like every 5 to 10 years they start expanding their menu beyond the basics and add things like hotdogs, tacos, deli sandwiches, etc. Then, the locations start closing down.

Folks I found this article talking about some new things coming to Blythewood as well as Killian Road and it revealed that Chipotle is coming soon to this building...

It hasn't been closed long. I went 4 weeks ago for breakfast. Between this closing and Jimmy's Mart on Two Notch no longer serving breakfast, looks like Bojangles is going to be my regular weekend breakfast again.
