Pet Supermarket, 818 Harden Street: June 2020 2 comments
Sunrise Florida chain Pet Supermarket opened in the old Eckerd's / Rite Aid on Harden Street in the fall of 2017, and The State had the story here.
Now, three years later, the place is having a liquidation sale prior to shutting down.
Interestingly, The State story mentions that the building was subdivided with about 25% left for another business to occupy, something, which as far as I know, never happened.

Up here in Willoughby, OH, we had a pet store (for the record, I can NOT remember the name of it; I think it was TNT Pet Store) and it was a FANTASTIC place. It was a little expensive, and that is probably why it closed. Like ¨Dan R¨ said, some pet stores are more pricey than much larger chains, like PETSMART and PET SUPPLIES PLUS. Taking a look at google maps, I was still not able to figure out what the name was.

I do not know what their target audience was, but they seemed to be more expensive than the Pet Supply in the Food Lion shopping center.
