Carquest Auto Parts / Advance Auto Parts, 909 Leesburg Road: Mid 2016 1 comment

I'm guessing that what happened here is that Advanced Auto Parts bought out Carquest Auto Parts and consolidated this store into their existing location at 7316 Garners Ferry Road. At any rate, I don't think this was an Advance Auto Parts for long, if at all, because the label scars exactly match the Carquest signage visible in this Google StreetView, and Carquest is listed in the 2015 phonebook.

If you go on the Carquest Auto Parts store site you'll notice that they have it listed that they're now part of the Advance Auto Parts family...

They still have a location at 4709 Broad River Road listed but I've noticed that particular building has been finished being overhauled into Advance Auto Parts and that explains it...

There are several other locations listed in the Columbia MSA:

- 117 Charleston Highway (West Columbia)
- 912 S Lake Drive (Lexington)
- 7592 Woodrow Street (Irmo)
- 9031-B Farrow Road

Making me wonder if those will get a similar overhaul...(but it remains to be seen)...
