Originally, I had a section on CatMan Dew's here, but as commenter badger pointed out, that was a different storefront.

You can see in this long-shot that this wing of the strip mall does have some similar locations, and I let the red awning and placement of lights to either side of the entranceway fool me:

Anyway, I have moved CatMan Dew's to its own post.

The Casa Linda location here was operating until quite recently, and seems to have closed at about the same time as their Lexington location. Currently the place is still a Mexican restaurant, Taco Time.

  1. The first time I saw this mentioned on here the only thing I could think about is the Taco Town skit from SNL. Any of you guys remember that one?

  2. Ted, Catman Dew's and Mushi Mushi were in the corner to the far right of Casa Linda.

    have confused me.

It ain't what you don't know, but what you know that just ain't so..

    I'll fix it this evening.

  4. Nothing quite screams professionalism like window displays made with black magic markers.

  5. This is the restaurrant I was referring to on have your say that Tahochic, Badger and Homer also commented on. The name has changed but, the food is not the same. I did not like the salsa they bought to my table, I did not like the dish that I had been served in the past. I'm going out on a limb and say that the original owners were ready to get out and they turned it over to an employee they thought could make a go of it, who wanted to give it a try, Just my thoughts, and they changed the menu to what they thought was better. WRONG. I will not go back again.
