Kiddie Korner Hair Design, 356 South Harden Street: 2009 4 comments
It seems to me that I recall this place on the corner of Harden and Rosewood being a TV repair place at one time. Certainly Kiddie Korner was far from the first operation there, though to date, it seems to have been the last.

This was a wonderful dress shop before it was a kids hair place.I think it was called Thrits or something with a T as she had two loctions. I loved the selection and the prices. This loction closed first and the other closed not to much later. I am thinkng this was in 1998 or earlier. I always thought this was a cute building and knew it had to have been other things before the dress shop. It was painted rainbow colors for the kids hair place.

This place was Threatt's Fine Fashions for a long time before it was KIDZ. The dim recesses of my brain want to tell me that it was an old fashioned barber shop at one time. Richland County says the building was built in 1958 and is currently valued at less than $80,000. Must be nothing to it. Same owners as the Pizza Man building behind it.
Keefe's TV Repair was next door in a tiny building that faced Rosewood. It sat empty for years before it was torn down.

This building was razed alongside the recently closed Pizza Man...

There was signage indicating this property was up for sale at one point and maybe this will make room for whatever decides to open up here
