Little Caesars Pizza / Yummy Chinese Restaurant II, 4600 Forest Drive Suite 10: Summer 2020 7 comments
I'm not sure how long, Yummy II has been here, but quite a while I while, I think. Initially I thought there was a real estate sign in the window, but in fact it is simply a placard for the construction company which is doing the asbestos removal and interior demolition.
Google has Yummy II marked as "termporarily closed" so I am going with that in the post title, but the absence of any "See you soon!" type of sign is not a good omen.
(If there is still a Yummy I, I don't know where it is.)

UPDATE 9 September 2020: I have taken the "Temporary?" notation off the post title as it appears from the comments while that was the hope for Yummy at the start of the crisis they are now gone and this is to become a Kudzu Bakery. I have been in the Litchfield & Georgetown locations of that chain a few times and recall both of those spaces as larger than this. Also commenter Thomas calls out the previous occupant in this storefront as Little Caesars, so I have added that to the post title.
UPDATE 23 March 2021 -- Kudzu Bakery is now open in this spot:

Well, we know what is going in this spot now.
Kudzu Bakery & Market Columbia is the latest location from Joey and Stacy Rabon. The Rabons began Kudzu Bakery in Georgetown and currently have locations in Litchfield and Mount Pleasant. The Columbia location -- actually Forest Acres -- will be at 4600 Forest Drive, in the former Yummy Chinese location. The bakery specializes in fresh breads, pies, cookies and breakfast items, specialty products such as jams, jellies and spreads, and has a daily schedule of baked breads.

That's interesting, my wife and I just visited the Kudzu location in Mt. Pleasant on Friday, cool little place.

We have missed Yummy Chinese. It was on our regular rotation of places to eat. The other Yummy location was in the Food Lion shopping center near the old Keenan High School off 2 Notch Road. I think the old Keenan is now CA Johnson Middle.

I know they were in the spot as early as 2007 when I bought my house. I think they had already been there a while when I moved in. As far as I know, they were the first place in that spot after the Little Caesars that had been in that spot closed. There had previously been signs on the door that they were temporarily closed due to COVID but as far as I know they never reopened.
I used to go here pretty often about 10 years ago so it's been open at least that long. The food was great.
