I'm not exactly sure when this little Two Notch spot closed, but the last Facebook postings are from October 2013, so I'll go with Fall 2013 even though I suspect it was later than that. Judging from the wall signs, they had a wider menu than I might have expected.

Apparently the building is being sold fully equipped.

  1. I'm trying to picture exactly where on Two Notch Road this place was, because I'm sure I have never noticed it before.
If it was in the stretch of Two Notch between Beltline and Taylor Street that would explain it, 'cause I might have given them a try.

On another note, here is a shout out to Tonkatoy , Caycekid and Tahoebabe, where are you? We have not heard from you in a while. Regards to Homer.

  2. True - I've been wonder where Tonka and Cayce have been lately. They were some great commenters.

  3. If you look at this location on Google Street View, there are three cop cars in the parking lot!

  4. @Rick - LMAO @ "Tahoebabe"! I had knee problems and was on crutches for a few weeks, so this week I've been busy catching up around the house.

I was trying to place where this was on Two Notch, then I looked it up on street view-and saw the cops cars- and I'm thinking this used to be a used car lot or something years ago. I could be wrong though, I don't go down Two Notch much.

  5. TC - Glad you got a laugh out of that. I try, and I hope you are doing well and getting off the crutches.
When I was in my teens, many millennia ago, I broke my leg on a motorcycle when I ran into a car.
I was on crutches for about six weeks with a full length cast, I got pretty good at moving forward at a high rate of speed by extending the crutches as far as I could out in front of me and then sort of "Vaulting" ahead if you will, and then repeating. My friends would have to run to keep up with me. That was sort of fun, but not fun enough that I would want to be on crutches again.
I'm happy to see you post again. And Homer (in a separate communication from Colaclosings) is the one who made me think of you.

  7. @Tahoe - you're welcome. Rick and I were discussing something else via email and we were wonder why we haven't heard from some posters in a while. Any ideas what happened to Caycekid and Tonkatoy??
